Similue

Waking up this morning was not as easy as it has been lately. Only a short day today and we should finish by lunchtime:) The first flight to Blang Pidie started with some extremely uncomfortable turbulence, the wind pumping over the mountains just to the South was the cause of this. Once we were above 7000 ft in calmed down and the rest of the flight went smoothly (excuse the pun). Rob did the next flight to Similue and we were lucky to have some sun shining down on us for once this week. The turquoise blues of the sea around the islands are breathtaking and makes me wish I was down there surfing!

Blang Pidie Photoshoot

A quick turn around and we were back in Blang Pidie in no time. A group of school girls came for a quick photo shoot, lots of giggles and plenty of photos later we were on our way. One hour later we were in the car and on our way to the beach for a bit of a braai (BBQ) and swim for the ones who wanted to brave the 30kt winds.
