Will I ever learn…
Today started off well, nice and rested after a good weekend. Ming and I set off refreshed to Enggano, only one major build up to dodge and otherwise smooth sailing. After a quick lunch and refueling of our C208 we set off to Muko-Muko and then Padang. The flight to Muko-Muko although a little bumpy went well with nothing too exciting. The flight into Padang started off well but ended up with a bit of bad weather at the end. We ended up flying an ILS approach into Padang and made it just before the heavy rain caught us. It started pouring about 5 minutes after being pulled into the hanger. The rest of the flights back to Bengkulu had to be cancelled due to the poor weather. Ming and I now sit in Padang, no clothes, toiletries or anything else. I think from now on I am at least going to carry a spare shirt and mininal toiletries.
